Example: Phariseeism, Priorities, and Structure.

Just found a new blogger. Or at least a blogger new to me.

I feel her July 19th post is an excellent, modern day example of how having false priorities and structure produces phariseeism.

I will let her words speak for themselves.

No. The most dangerous force to the Church is not Feminism but Phariseeism which hides behind a cloak of righteousness. But its righteousness is filthy rages.

I appreciate Elizabeth Esther's devotion to God, even as she works to get past the damage done by those within the church who meant well, but were more important in following the rules than knowing the God of the rules and following Him.
Not all coming out of the fog of Phariseeism continue to hold onto God. It is easier for them to just chuck the whole thing, throw the baby out with the bath water rather than go back and try to extract the truth from the lies.

OH MY GOSH I LOVE HER, love her Writing! You know you read like the ones that like well I relate and I do relate to their anger cuzz I've been there and Still struggle every day, those times I'm like, ok God can't stand you anymore,

so I can relate but then you kind of know those who are really just working through [even if they do leave] and those that are just like hoppin on the 'let's get God train' type of folks,

but then, you see this woman, who can see through the beauty And the irony and I love her use of dark humor--and wit.

Real eye opener, thanks for posting..I will have to add her to the blog, and been reading here, just so you know, not posting/replying much, but so you know, still think/pray with you and still in your corner...

Love you,

Jane
