Voddie Baucham plays fast and loose with the scriptures in order to seize power in the Kingdom of heaven. He manipulates scripture in order to secure power over his wife and daughters and whatever part of God's Kingdom that he can get his hands on.
He is guilty of this:
Matthew 11:12 From
the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence
[is forcibly entered], and violent men take it by force [seize it for
themselves].
And this:
Jeremiah 8:8 How can you say, 'we are wise, and the
law of the Lord is with us'?
But behold,
the lying pen of the scribe has made it into a lie.

Does Baucham Embrace Marriage as a Sacrament, or is it Just Another Rhetorical Trick
Though Voddie accuses others of playing fast and loose with the scriptures, the fact of the matter is, he is the one doing so and causing great damage and destruction in the Kingdom of Heaven as he grabs for more and more power.

This is just sick. There are other ways to teach your children besides spanking. There are many tools in the tool box for parents to use. I've spanked, and I used other tools. Spanking was when they were very young, and not for every violation. You learn fear if you do it that way.
I mean if you fear your parents? You won't come to them when you need an adult that has your back in life. Helps you with some ugly circumstance.
If being spanked and spanked often was indeed a true command? We would hear Jesus speaking of it. Discipline is needed, and thinking outside the box due to the individual nature of a child is also.
He is a big guy, and no doubt intimidates children due to his size. He can overcome that most of the time, but instead he gets his nose of joint...and wants you to spank them. What a loon!
For those reading the comments who don't know what Hannah is talking about, she's just refering to Cindy's next post on Baucham located here:

And I'm glad she brings it up. He is violent, lording it over his children with violence upon violence.
He really doesn't 'get' Jesus, who Jesus is, what He stands for, or what He did while He walked the earth.
Nope, I don't mind saying it again.
Voddie Baucham simply DOES NOT GET Jesus or the gospel or much of anything concerning the Kingdom of Heaven.
